AirAngel was developed by RoundhouseOne, which in turn was founded in 2014 as a technology business off-shoot of the design strategy company, MKThink.  For years the technologies produced by RoundhouseOne were exclusive to MKThink in support of consulting projects for space planning, experience commissioning, and other strategic needs. In 2019, RoundhouseOne decided to launch itself into the market as a space occupancy and health as a service technology provider. The company designs, builds and operates its own hardware, software and algorithms. It holds 11 patents for its technology.
